Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Flight to Tamale, Former Slave Camp, Tamale City Tour
- Morning flight to Tamale (or begin your tour with a pick-up in Tamale).
- Meet your guide and depart for the former slave camp at Saakpuli.
- Relics from the days of the slave trade include the sacred Baobab Tree, a mini museum of artifacts, and over 70 wells that the enslaved were forced to dig.

- Return to Tamale and visit the central craft market to shop for items of interest.
- Witness the processing of pure and unrefined Shea Butter, the women's gold.

- Visit an art gallery nearby where many beautiful arts and sculpture are displayed.
- Drumming and dance performance by the Tamale Youth Home Cultural Group.
- Friendly, budget hotel centrally located in Tamale.
Day 2
Gnani Witches Camp, Kingdom of Dagbon, Central Mosque, Accra Return
- Departure for Gnani witches camp where alleged witches have their abode. Many face stigmatization and neglect from family and friends. Donations required.
- Yendi, seat of the Kingdom of Dagbon, is one of the oldest kingdoms in Ghana.
- Tour a chief's palace to see the compound and hear the history of the Dagombas.
- Explore this ancient city and watch a traditional Gonja cloth weaver.
- Return to Tamale. Visit the Central Mosque, which is over 150 years old. Fridays are especially busy. Those of Muslim faith may enter for prayers.
- Return flight to Accra (airport transit is extra), or drop in Tamale.
