	Arrival	Meet your arriving flight at Lomé-Tokoin International Airport in Lomé.
	Day 1	Travel to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
	Lomé	Refresh and relax. Neighborhood or Lomé city orientation as time permits.
		Overnight in a budget next to the beach in Lomé.
		Voodoo Market, Togoville, Ouidah
		City tour of Lomé, including Independence Square and the Grand Marché.
	Day 2	Visit the Akodessawa Fetish Market, the world's largest voodoo market.
	Ouidah	Togoville on Lac Togo, original home to Haitian voodoo. Chief's house with throne.
	3 hours	Overnight in a mid-range hotel in Ouidah.
		Benin Voudou Culture, Fetish Market, Temple Snake, Sacred Forest
		Day in Ouidah, birthplace of voudou culture in Benin.
	Day 3	Explore the unusual fetish market for animal parts, special medicines and charms.
	Ouidah	Visit the Temple of Snakes, the Sacred Forest, and the Point of No Return.
		Overnight in a mid-range hotel in Ouidah.
		Ganvie Stilt Village, Dahomey Kingdom
		Visit the unique stilt village of Ganvie, home to 20,000 residents in a floating city.
	Day 4	Travel by canoe through the market and other places to see this "Venice of Africa".
	Abomey	Late afternoon arrival at Abomey, capital of the ancient Dahomey Kingdom.
	2½ hours	Overnight in a mid-range hotel in Abomey.
		Abomey, Dassa Zoumé, Kings Monuments, Natitingou
		Visit to Musée Historique d'Abomey, once one of Africa's great palace compounds.
	Day 5	Animists sites in the 14th century kingdom of Dassa Zoumé, the "City of 41 Hills".
	Natitingou	Visit burial place of kings and unique homes built in and around the rock formations.
	6 hours	Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Natitingou.
		Natitingou, Tata Somba, Art Museum, Shea Butter
		Morning depart to the Tata Somba town, to see unique housing structures.
	Day 6	Visit to the Musée d'Arts et de Traditions Populaires de Natitingou.
	Sokodé	Continue visit some women producing Shea butter for cooking and cosmetic use.
	3½ hours	Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Sokodé.
		Gorge Faile Aledgo, Akloa Waterfalls, Border Crossing to Volta Region
		Morning depart passing through Gorge Faile Aledgo, via Sokodé towards Atakpamé.
	Day 7	Visit the Akloa Waterfall through coffee and cocoa groves for some hiking.
	Wli	Late afternoon arrival in the Volta Region of Ghana. Refresh and relax for the day.
	6 hours	Overnight at a budget hotel near Wli Falls.
		Monkey Sanctuary, Wli Falls, Volta River
		Depart for monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome for fun with habituated Mona monkeys.
	Day 8	45 minute hike through the Agumatsa Forest Reserve to Ghana's tallest falls.
	Atimpoku	Continue to Volta River for a motorboat ride from Adomi bridge to Akosombo dam.
	2½ hours	Overnight at a budget chalet on the banks of the Volta River.
		Traditional Craft Villages of the Ashanti Kingdom
		Early depart on a scenic drive thru the lush Eastern Region to the Ashanti Kingdom.
	Day 9	Visit craft villages around Kumasi showcasing traditional crafts:
	Kumasi	Kente weaving at Adanwomase, Adinkra stamping at Ntonso, carving at Ahwiaa.
	5¼ hours	Overnight at an upscale hotel in central Kumasi.
		Slave Cemetery, Cape Coast Castle, Beach
		Follow the slave trail to the coast, stopping at a former slave market and cemetery.
	Day 10	Tour the World Heritage site and former slave dungeon of Cape Coast castle.
	Elmina	Those of the Diaspora may have a "Door of Return" ceremony at the castle (extra fee).
	4 hours	Overnight at an upscale beach resort.
		Kakum National Park, Crocodiles, Central Elmina, Culture Performance
		Morning visit to the rain forest canopy walkway at Kakum National Park.
	Day 11	Visit nearby crocodile ponds. Visit central Elmina to see the busy fishing lagoon
	Elmina	and take the grand walkway to hilltop Ft. San Jago. Special cultural performance.
		Overnight at an upscale beach resort.
		Beach Morning, Accra City Tour, Last Minute Shopping, Drop-Off

	Day 12	Visit to Kwame Nkrumah Monument, Independence Square, Makola Market,
