	Arrival	Meet your arriving flight at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
	Day 1	Safe transport to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
	Accra	Refresh and relax. Neighborhood or Accra city orientation as time permits.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel in Tesano.
		Legon Botanical Garden, Achimota Forest, Kokrobite
		Morning birding at Legon Botanical Gardens, with a nesting population of egrets.
	Day 2	Birding at Achimota Forest reveals sunbirds, hornbills, and vibrant forest species.
	Kokrobite	Drop-off at your hotel to refresh and relax. Beach walk as preferred.
		Overnight at a secluded mid-range guesthouse in Kokrobite.
		Densu Delta, Winneba Lagoon, Crocodiles, Birds & Bees, Kakum
		Densu Delta and Winneba lagoon offer sites of migratory birds and waterfowl.
	Day 3	Sun Bird Trail has 3 ecosystems: rainforest, secondary forest and pond environment.
	Kakum	Crocodile ponds and weaver bird community at Hans Botel. Stingless bee facility.
	3½ hours	Overnight at a mid-range hotel near Kakum National Park.
		Forest Canopy Walk, Kakum National Park
		5:30 AM birding from the rainforest canopy walkway before it opens to the public.
	Day 4	Kakum is Ghana's most significant birding park, with over 266 species including
	Kakum	white-breasted guinea fowl, African grey parrot, and nine species of hornbill.
		Overnight at a mid-range hotel near Kakum National Park.
		Kakum National Park, Depart for Ankasa Game Reserve
		Depart west along the coast on a long drive to Ankasa Protected Area.
	Day 5	Stop at sites along the road for if time permits.
	Ankasa	Arrive at Ankasa Forest before dark, have a night expedition in the area.
	5 hours	Overnight at a bed & breakfast facility in the forest.
		Full Day Birding at Ankasa Protected Area
		Early morning hike at Ankasa, which has Ghana's largest concentration
	Day 6	of biodiversity. Focus on area around the Ankasa River and the Nini River.
	Ankasa	Begin our search for White-bellied, Shining-Blue, and Blue-breasted Kingfishers.
		Overnight at a bed & breakfast facility in the forest.
		Birding Day 2: Ankasa Protected Area
		Pre-dawn birding session to spot rare nocturnal species along forest trails.
	Day 7	Explore Nini and Ankasa Rivers, searching for African Finfoot, Dwarf Kingfisher.
	Ankasa	Conclude with evening walk to discover night birds and forest mammals.
		Overnight at a bed & breakfast facility in the forest.
		Amansuri Wetlands, Nzulezu Stilt Village, Flight to Accra Airport
	Drop-Off	Morning canoe ride along the Amansuri River, Ghana largest swamp forest.
	Day 8	Many species, including Kingfishers, are found in this unique environment.
	Accra	Visit to Nzulezu stilt village. Drive to the Takoradi airport for your flight to Accra.
	3½ hours	Be met at the airport and transport to the international terminal for your flight..
