Early morning departure to the fishing village of Apam to visit Fort Patience. | ||||
Day 3 | Visit Fort Amsterdam in Salt pond as well as an elaborate Posuban shrine. | |||
Elmina | Onward to the fishing village of Anomabo - tour the old town, Fort William. | |||

Day 4 | Quickly visit the hilltop Fort William in Cape Coast before departing to Elmina. | |||

Depart for Shama to visit Fort St Sebastian. Continue to Fort Orange in Sekondi. | ||||
Day 5 | Hike along beautiful Busua beach to Fort Metal Cross in Dixcove (or directly drive). | |||
Busua | Travel to nearby Butre to explore the ruins of Fort Batenstein. | |||

Drive to Fort Gross Freidrichsburg in Princes Town, Ghana's only German fort. | ||||
Day 6 | Continue to Fort San Antonio in Axim, one of the oldest forts on Ghana. | |||
Axim | Finally, some relaxation time at one of Ghana's most beautiful beaches. | |||

Morning depart for the beach village of Beyin, near the western border of Ghana. | ||||
Day 7 | Canoe ride through the Amansuri wetlands to the stilt village of Nzulezu. | |||
