A portion of your tour cost goes directly to local gyms, assisting trainers with equipment funding, facility maintenance, and youth sports development programs in Jamestown.

How physically demanding is this tour?

This tour can be tailored to your preference. Walking through Jamestown requires moderate physical activity on foot. If you choose The Sparring Experience, it involves an active cardio workout, so basic physical fitness is required to enter the ring.

What kind of clothing and footwear should I pack for a boxing tour?

Wear light, breathable athletic clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt, along with comfortable athletic sneakers or running shoes suitable for walking urban streets and moving around inside gym facilities.

Is previous boxing experience required for The Sparring Experience package?

No prior experience is necessary. Local trainers will adjust the intensity level to match your background, whether you are a beginner looking to learn basic techniques or an active athlete seeking real sparring action.

Are your guides local experts?

Yes. Your tour is guided by local Jamestown residents who have deep roots in the community and personal connections to the neighborhood boxing culture and athletes.

Can I take photos and videos during the tour?

Yes, photography and video recording are allowed inside the gyms and around the Bukom Arena. Your guide will notify you if any specific local coaches or athletes request privacy during session workouts.

How large are your tour groups?

We maintain small, intimate group sizes to ensure easy navigation through local neighborhood streets and to maximize individual time inside the boxing gyms.

What are the standard pick-up and drop-off times?

This afternoon tour begins promptly at 3:00 PM at the Jamestown Community Centre and wraps up approximately 3 hours later around 6:00 PM at the same starting location.

What happens if the weather affects the tour?

The walking portions continue during light rain, while gym visits and Bukom Arena stops remain protected indoors. Severe weather changes will lead to alternate route adjustments by your guide.

Is safety gear provided for participants in The Sparring Experience?

Yes, basic gear including gloves, hand wraps, and protective headgear is provided on site at the gym facility.

Are your tours suitable for first-time visitors to Africa?

Yes. Exploring Jamestown with a local guide offers a safe, immersive, and informative introduction to traditional neighborhoods in Accra.

Is Ghana safe for tourists?

Ghana is widely regarded as one of the safest destinations in West Africa. Walking with your local guide ensures a secure, comfortable, and welcoming experience throughout the tour.

Are your tours accessible for travelers with limited mobility?

Jamestown street surfaces can be uneven, and traditional gym buildings may have steps. Please notify us during booking so we can adapt the walking route or gym choices for accessibility.

Is a deposit required to confirm my booking?

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your dates, with the final balance due on or before the day your tour begins.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Upon cancellation, Easy Track Ghana will refund recoverable funds received, less a cancellation fee of up to 8.5% of the quoted tour fare.
